On February 26, the United Auto Workers Region 1-D Veterans Committee helped residents beat the winter blahs with a winter carnival, complete with a bounce house, velcro wall, bungee pull and oodles of carnival games. Tucked within the warmth of the Community Center gymnasium, parents and children were also treated to hot dogs, popcorn and cotton candy to delight their bellies.
